Alex entered his school’s PTA Reflections contest this fall in the Video Production category. The theme of this year’s contest is "Wow!". Alex was not required to act in his video, only to film and edit the video himself. Alex chose to make a video of himself making a celtic knot inlaid pen from the tree to the pen in hand. Since Alex chose to also star in his video, he used a remote control with the camera to shoot all the video and he edited the footage on our family’s computer. He won first place at the local level, his school, Fuquay Varina Middle School. Alex’s video continued to the Wake County Division where he earned a Second Place award.
